The hand-carved and hand-painted Antique Red Pear (Pera) is made of a solid chunk of white Carrara Marble from Italy. A secret process is used for the coloring phase. Minerals from all over the world are used for the dyes. The painting techniques vary according to the fruit itself (brushing, dipping, blowing, etc.). Natural fruit stems are added to the fruit as realistic accents.
